Get to prod 6x faster.
What if your software engineers didn’t have to build basics like login, chat, or geoservices from scratch? What if they could get app features like these off-the-shelf, with all of the functionality and back-end connectivity they need? Now they can. We call it Features-as-a-Service.

Talk to our team 01 What is FaaS?
Basics
Features-as-a-Service (FaaS) is a software development model that provides pre-built, modular features that developers can integrate into their applications, speeding up the development process while maintaining flexibility and control.
02 Is this low-code/no-code?
Development
Onymos FaaS is pro-code. Each feature is built to be used with the most popular open-source web, mobile, and IoT frameworks. In contrast, low-code/no-code customers have to use those products inside their vendors’ proprietary platforms.
Our customers choose us when they need to build complex, high-IP products and services as fast as possible, without the limits typically associated with low-code/no-code.
03 Does Onymos have a professional services team?
Services
Our configuration team can combine any combination of features per your specs. We can build exactly the solution you need faster than any other vendor or professional services team (because our features are already built). On average, our customers get to production 6x faster compared to other estimates.
Your in-house developers can also use Onymos FaaS themselves. Each feature is available as a code library they can interact with through an API.
04 How does Onymos address vendor lock-in?
Ownership
Onymos software goes inside your products and service whereas in the typical SaaS model your products and services go inside another vendor’s software. Most importantly, you can license our actual source code, so it’s literally no different than if your team had built it all themselves. They just didn’t have to.
05 How secure is FaaS?
Security
Onymos software is built using our award-winning “no-data” architecture. We don’t access, capture, or store customer data. Instead, all data remains securely within the customer’s own environment, whether that’s on-prem or the cloud.
Additionally, Onymos is certified SOC 2 and HIPAA compliant.
06 What languages or frameworks is FaaS compatible with?
Compatibility
Some or all of our features are compatible with the following languages and frameworks: React, React Native, Angular, Ionic, Cordova, Flutter, GO, Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, and Java.
However, if you need a feature in a language or framework we don’t yet support, we’ll build it for you.
07 How does FaaS pricing work?
Pricing
Onymos uses an annual subscription model where the pricing of our software depends on its functionality and the integrations involved. The price of Onymos software is a fraction of what it would cost for an engineering team to build, maintain, and update these same app features themselves.
We also offer “Partnership Pricing,” meaning you can defer payment until your team or organization meets an agreed-upon benchmark or success metric. We won’t be successful unless you’re successful.
08 What comes with a FaaS subscription?
Subscription
Onymos software is kept relentlessly up to date through our real-time release program. We make sure your features continue to work across OS changes, third-party API updates, and new technology. No maintenance is ever required by your in-house team. That’s the “Service” in Features-as-a-Service.

The first app to fight retinopathy.
There’s a causal link between high blood pressure and retinal damage that leads to vision problems. Dr. Einar Stefansson, a leading physician in the field of diabetic eye disease and diabetic screening, saw the need to provide healthcare professionals with an accurate and convenient tool to evaluate the individual risk for sight-threatening retinopathy based on a patient’s clinical state.
To help him build his vision, RetinaRisk, he assembled a team of experts from fields like ophthalmology, endocrinology, and statistics. It turned out that was the easy part. Now they had to build an app.
